Looks like fun. You should consider making a trip to the mountains. We have LOTS of toys like that we go bang with. Fun fun fun.

I would LOVE to shoot on private property or go somewhere But I dont know where to go or have any friends that do that kind of stuff. So im stuck going to ranges.

We Hooligans usually shoot at the Savage River range. I used to live in Millersville so I know how far away you are in Glen Burnie. It's a 3 hour drive each way. But if you ever make it out to Garrett County, bring your M38 with you.

That sucks man. Even if i take quite a few guns i ALWAYS look forward to firing my mosin.

I took my son and some of his friends - we shot a variety of guns, and I made sure I had plenty of .22LR, 7.62x39, and 5.56... but I was "positive" I had a few boxes of 54R in the bottom of my range bag, so I didn't even bother to check. :sad20:

Nothing worse than a M38 sitting, at least standing the recoil seems a little better. Wait until you try some heavy ball in that thing ....

That's one manly sounding gun. I heard rumors the recoil causes massive amounts of chesthair growth.

thank you lol recoil isnt really bad I will admitt after 50+ rounds my shoulder starts getting reeeallly tender. And I refuse to use a towel or a rubber slip pad because its takes the fun out of firing the M38
