Fired my M38 for the first time in about 1 1/2 years....Felt good but my shoulder hurts now lol. I think I shot about 80 rounds or so. Aint a whole lot but it is when your only 150lbs like me.

I would LOVE to shoot on private property or go somewhere But I dont know where to go or have any friends that do that kind of stuff. So im stuck going to ranges.

We Hooligans usually shoot at the Savage River range. I used to live in Millersville so I know how far away you are in Glen Burnie. It's a 3 hour drive each way. But if you ever make it out to Garrett County, bring your M38 with you.

I took my son and some of his friends - we shot a variety of guns, and I made sure I had plenty of .22LR, 7.62x39, and 5.56... but I was "positive" I had a few boxes of 54R in the bottom of my range bag, so I didn't even bother to check.

Nothing worse than a M38 sitting, at least standing the recoil seems a little better. Wait until you try some heavy ball in that thing ....

I have shot heavy ball like a year and a half ago. Seems to me that brown bear hurts too.

yes but your feet have to be behind the red firing line or right at it and the muzzle has to be over the red firing line. Ask them next time you go they will guide you in the right direction.

thank you lol recoil isnt really bad I will admitt after 50+ rounds my shoulder starts getting reeeallly tender. And I refuse to use a towel or a rubber slip pad because its takes the fun out of firing the M38
