Mount for SDN-762 on 5.56 Barrel

Does anyone know if the caliber designation on the AAC website for the blackout brakes and such refers to the caliber of the can or the barrel?

Ex.

5.56/ 51T ( is that for a 30 cal can on a 5.56 ar)




P.s. I just placed an order because I am impatient.

5.56 is the Caliber 51T (Tooth) is the Can Mount. Careful ! My AAC cans will fit on that 51T So DOUBLE CHECK ....Make Sure not to Mount that 5.56 Can on Your 300 Black Out ! Your 30 Cal AAC can will screw right on that 51Tooth Mount w/o a problem. Not CONVERSLY THOUGH!

I have a 30 cal can I want to put on my 5.56 rifle, so I will be fine. I don't have a 5.56 cal can.

It sounds like my mount will work fine.

You need to pay attention to the thread pitch too. You will need a 5.56 brake 1/2 x 28..

Wayne is SPOT ON. My 300 BO Barrel is 5/8"X 24 Thread.
