Moving/Removing Mini 14 Front Sight

I am assuming to remove/ or at least slip forward the front sight on my mini14 I need a sight tool? Anyone know if thats the case.

On my front sight I had to remove a roll pin. I then used a wooden dowel on the sight and some hammer taps to remove the sight.
I also had to remove the flash hinder first
Sight tools typically just fine tune the front sight placement to the left or right

Which model and front sight do you have ? There are a few different for the minis , most are just pinned on .

And some are VERY hard to get off even after you remove the pin.

interesting...thats all. I do think its just the pinned one, so will have to see what I can do..

Even if they are pinned, some are on there TIGHT.
