FYI: Technically, the decision is not final in the trial court until actual orders are issued. The Opinion directs the parties to meet within 10 days and confer about the wording for a declaratory judgment order, an injunction and an immediate appeal certification. The Court will then enter these orders as separate orders. Until the actual orders are issued, enforcement is not technically enjoined. Once these orders are entered, the County will be prohibited from enforcing most of Chapter 57 of the County Code, including the restrictions on carry by permit holders and its bans on so-called "ghost guns." This is not over. The County will likely appeal and it may seek a stay pending appeal. But it is a great victory for now. When is the OC meet up at Mission in Rockville?
The beauty of this opinion is that will basically deter other counties from their own reglatory larks as well. And that is as it should be.And we cannot thank you enough counselor

The ban on owning home made firearms in MoCo is dead.We need a lawyer to aisle 2 for a clean-up. Lawyer to aisle 2 please.
Outstanding job my friend. What got tossed was everything in conflict with or inconsistent with State law, and that includes the restrictions placed on carry by permit holders along with the County's separate bans on privately made firearms. It's a huge win.
If you aren't a member of MSI, why not?
OC is still verboten per state statute as of Oct 1.When is the OC meet up at Mission in Rockville?
