MSP wait times for handgun approval

Has anyone else thought that maybe there is no sure fire way of being selected to go in the review pile, that tickets, judiciary search cases and all the other bs reasons we think it could be have no bearing whatsoever on who's selected? Considering the wide variety of people on here that do or don't go into review either have tickets, don't have tickets, court cases and all the other stuff, maybe they just randomly select people and there really isn't any rhyme or reason at all as to why you get put into review. Seems more logical then anything to me.

I've been saying this for weeks. Just accept the chaos that is the MSP Licensing Division...

So we're still at around 2-3 days for them to complete a days worth of initial reviews and around 3-4 days for them to complete a days worth a apps in the further review pile. Wish I could get away with stuff like this on my job. :-)

I am March 8th...........FINGERS CROSSED!!! I sent Mrs. Brock an email yesterday and am hoping her reply has good news in it........that is if i get a reply!!!

Just called about my 3/21 app. Ms. Brock couldn't "find" it and took my number down to call me when she does. Great.

Yup im a first time buyer also. Beretta px4 .40. Was supposed to be finished yesterday if I didn't get put in further review. Ms Brock told me to call her today and of course when I did she couldn't locate my app. Hope she calls back or else ill be calling her at the end of the day and every day after until I know where my app stands.

Better than I would have expected, at least for non-review... on Tuesday, they were doing 19 March, today they're doing 21 March, so that means they're almost up to a day-per-day ratio.

How depressing that that's considered an improvement...

I have a email from her from yesterday saying the review pile was on the 5th. So that's a 3 day jump

And one from the end of last week saying the 2nd. So in 8 days they went through 6 days or review, and they had a 4 day weekend.

I guess no body bought guns that week. lol

I'm a 3/21 in Further Review! I've waited for almost 3 months for my gun and my estimates say I won't have my gun for another 5 weeks! **** the shop that won't release my gun and **** MSP
