This doesn't really qualify as a collection, and is more of a "there are many like them but they are mine." But here are new-to-me recurves.
I posted my TD back when I first got it in July, but it still seems like it qualifies as new. A Riser with #3 limbs coming in at about 44# at my 29" DL. I haven't fully settled on what arrows it wants. Right now, it's doing well with GT Trad 600s at 30.5" and 125g tips off a B50 string. But I may go heavier to get my gaps shorter. This one gives me a 24" gap at 20yds and a POD of about 45yds.
The Kodiak Magnum is a 1969 Grayling at about 47# for me in a Shedua riser and green glass that has faded to a nice olive. I hadn't planned on getting another bow, but I saw a very clean Grayling-era vintage KMag at Macrotec with the green riser and a matching bow quiver that was really intriguing. It's probably still there if anyone is interested. It really ess a nice one. I wasn't ready to buy yet, but I was apparently ready to trade. I found this up for trade that night for a compound I didn't use and pulled the trigger (... should it be "released the string" when talking about bows? ... I'm here all week, folks! ). Right now it likes Beman Centershot 500s at 30" with 50g inserts and 85g tips, but I'll probably go to heavy 340s to bring the POD as close to 25yds as I can. This will be a purely hunting and plinking bow, while the TD will be my main shooter.
