or go G2C which is about the same size as the 43x but features more like the 365 and aside from a longer take-up on the trigger has almost as nice a trigger as the 365 for only 200$

You are a couple of years late with the news. This quote is from 2019. ;)

But this is MDS , where search sucks , and few people do deep dives years back in particular subforums .

At least This one is useful , and probably of wide interest .

Great site for size comparison, doesn’t give you the full picture though of what it feels and or looks like to carry a particular option over a period of time. Worst case from some trial and error is that you end up with a bunch of CCW options and maybe your wallet is a bit lighter.

I agree. It was much simpler in the old days when the choice was either a S&W model 36 or 38.

If you have bigger hands, the PPK/PPK/S slide may cut your hand as it cycles.
The lack of a large beaver tail has drawn blood on many operators of the fine watch like pistols made by Walther. Even my hands, which are small to medium have felt the pain and seen the blood. Plus, as you get older, you can't see the dang sights.

Those pictures seem a little exaggerated. Here is the replica of a PPK I remember. Perhaps the later models have a longer beaver tail.
