Looking to get a piece of 8" long x 2-1/2" diameter aluminum tubing threaded on the id to 2" x 28p.
This is for a spider on the outboard spindle of my lathe. My lathe isn't big enough to do this. Want to start chambering my own barrels.

Anyone here has a mid size lathe that could help a brother out or knows of a decent local jobber shop, please let me know.

    Thanks

I have one of these on my mini-lathe. I don’t know if this would work, but probably cheaper.

I wish that would work, but my spindle bore is 1.385 & outboard spindle is threaded 2” x 28.
I found a piece of 8” x 1/2 wall alluminum tube. 2-1/2od x 1-1/2id. I can rough out the inside for threading on turn table in mill. Just have no way to cut the threads.

Gotcha. I figured it was a long shot…
