Ed "doc" Harren of Harrens custom rifles in ijamsville. All the metalwork he has done for me has been too shelf. He's a member here but doesn't post too often. (301) 831-8068 is his number.

Honestly, I would send it out to be blueprinted and then go to a remage barrel nut system. This was you can swap barrels whenever you want at home fairly easily.

Thanks all! Went and saw Ed today and he’s doing the job. He is an awesome guy and has more knowledge in his pinky then I will ever have in my life. Again, much appreciated and thanks for the contact.

Glad to hear that you got squared away. Doc will do you proud.

The man knows so much about rifles, shooting, and handloading (including bullet making) that I wish he published books on the subjects. Whenever I have been able to soak up some of his experience, I try to make notes when I get home so I don't forget.
