My wife and I are expecting out first child in a couple months. It is a very exciting time. Well the other day we had our appointment with a pediatrics office. Very nice doc. and nice group of people. We were sitting their chatting with the doc. and he started asking questions.
1) Do you have dogs? ( Two big monsters!)
2) Do you have a pool? (nope)
3) Do you have any guns? ( Excuse me?)
He repeated... Do you have any guns?
My answer was " Not enough of them"
He then asked if i keep them locked up? ( Of course, Safety first!)
I kinda felt weird after that question. I understand about a child's safety but really a doc asking if i own guns? My wife told me not to take it to heart and make a big deal over it but i cant help myself. I should not have been asked a question like that. What is your opinion on this? I have been told it will probably happen more because it is mandatory now thanks to Obama Care.
