Don’t get me wrong. The thing is probably great in some ways my AR-10 isn’t. Probably more robust, especially in sustained fire.

But mine is 18” barrel vs 16.3 and I can hammer sub MOA with most match loads and hand loads easy for full 20 round mags not firing slower than I need to for a steady shot. Now I am not made of money, so I’ve never sat there and shot 100 round strings or anything like that.

But mine weighs 9lbs empty, WITH optic.

So I am not pining for the new 110a1. It’s nice, don’t get me wrong. But I have a perfectly serviceable AR10 that is close enough to it’s equal. At least for hunting and range duty.

Now that new next gen Sig in 6.8 is pretty spiffy…also not going to justify $3k to get me an MCX Spear.
