    Thank you all.

Welcome from the eastern shore! What interests you about Md shooters?

Well, I'm a cross between libertarian and conservative and if I had to pick a single word, I would call myself a Constitutionalist. I figure if you follow the Constitution, you're golden.

I'm here primarily for education. I have known basic firearm safety since I took ROTC 100 at Marshall University (strictly as a fun elective - got to fire M-16s regularly and a burst from an M-60 once - special field trip to a range). But, I have much to learn with proper stance and such. I already know some mistakes I made with stance (stood upright, elbows locked) when I last went to the range which was about a year ago.

I just bought my first firearm this past Saturday (9mm S&W M&P Shield) and feel like a kid the week before Christmas waiting for my pick-up day. You can thank Owe'Malley and company for getting me to buy one a little "early" (I wanted to wait until my kids were a little older).

I am also interested in keeping the 2nd Amendment alive.
