Greetings. Just found this group from a member in Catonsville near me. I’m getting back into sharpening my skills with pistols that definitely need work. I slacked off after spending a good part of a year in 2017 applying for the W&C, documenting my G&S and getting shot down by the MSP then going to the review board only to lose on a 2/2 split decision. So I obtained a VA, a AZ and a NH non resident but did me little good here so rarely carried unless in a state that was covered. So now with the new rules I have the MD W&C and the PA. “ Picking up tomorrow in York “. I’ve sold a few guns and bought more CCW guns like the Hellcat and XDs Springfield. So looking to grow. Other than dryfire with snap caps and range visits what training is available to me? Thanks!

    Welcome Dave4Truth,
Check out the agcrange.org site, they conduct Tuesday Evening Bullseye events every week, it doesn’t cost much, it’ pretty close to C’ville, and while it’s competition - it’s really about bettering your own weekly or monthly score. I’ve only shot it a couple times, one handed, target @ 25 yards. But you learn about your own limitations.

check out that range and join Catonsville Scouters Rifle & Pistol Club

    I’m the Club President.

While you’re checking out The Associated Gun Clubs of Baltimore (agcrange.org) Catonsville Scouters is one of the associated clubs. You’ll love the place, even if you join a different club - there’s 30 something organizations.
