New Member in Frederick County

Hi Folks!

Decided to stop lurking and start participating; got back into shooting -- mostly informal target practice -- a few months back while hanging out with some military and LEO buddies in the neighborhood. . .

Grew up in PA doing a fair bit of hunting, and have a good bit of experience -- as most probably do -- with shooting .22 rifles. Never much with a handgun, but thanks to the guys mentioned above, been working with a Beretta 92FS and making some progress (or so I'm told )

Anyhow, I'm glad to be here, and hoping to learn a lot and contribute a little. . .

id suggest a barret for home defence. no such thing as overkill, just think you can always remodel if you have an entruder.

Let's just say my own home defense strategy is multi-faceted and incorporates many good ideas gleaned from others; saying anything else -- especially with me being new around here -- would just be bad manners. . .
