Porn Studio

This new building had a porn studio in it at some point. Not sure how recently and whether or not they actually shot movies there or if it was just an office. But there was definitely an adult movie company in there.

**** I used to work down the street from EA's new shop at Quicksilver Race Engines many years ago and remember the "porn" studio which was I think mostly office space used for storage of camera equipment, room props, outfits, as well as legal files of the actors/actresses showing proof of age, etc..

I think the movies were shot somewhere else but we used all joke about maybe going in for "tryouts" for extra work while the shop was slow. I think they had a very small retail establishment that sold 8mm reel to reel stuff, magazines, and other stuff before (this pre-dated widespread use of VHS/Betamax, etc..) the county made it tough to do that kind of business anymore.

I always thought it was funny that maybe 100 yards away was a lumber place specializing in "hardwood", and a warehouse that stored pipes for making sprinkler systems installed by guys who laid pipe for a living.

Ahh, the good old days!

Looking forward to checking out the shop as I am just down the street in Derwood.
