"Working" from home today I was able to make it to the range to try some new toys out.
Wife got me some Wilson 47DE mags for xmas. I was kinda concerned with the mixed reviews of Wilson mags with Springfield 1911's but I tried it anyway (can you really beleive what is said on the world wide internet web?). Ran maybe 150rds with them through my TRP and functioned flawlessy, very happy.
The right Piston finally showed up for my SWR Trident-9 so I was able to try that out also(cant take it home yet though). Brings a smile to my face with every shot... sooo quiet with Subs sonics. Host was my Sig P229... thats the only thing that gave me probs. It is still very new, but it fails to lock the slide back pretty much every time. Not only with the suppressor or sub sonics... May be my fault, hopefully I can have someone with me next time to try it out and see.
