New user stuck in DC

Hi all,
Just joined teh forum. I live in DC, but since I couldn't find a forum for DC shooters, thought this was close enough. Just got my C&R license and look forward to stocking up on some good old timey guns. Any other DCers out there?
Also, can anyone recommend a store around teh metro area that sells C&Rs?

LOL!!! That's AWESOME a DC C&R permit holder! That rocks!

No, seriously... good luck with that... You're gonna want to hit gun shows and hope for the best. I don't know what stores will and won't ship to DC over the internet, but my guess is that most won't ship C&R guns to you.

There are a few good vendors here on the forum, but I don't remember any being near DC proper, they will correct me if I am wrong. There might be one in NO VA, now that I think about it.

Welcome aboard, but I would consider moving out of DC to Maryland (would be going from the fire into the frying pan IMHO) or better yet, Virginia. I'm one to talk being as I'm sticking around in Maryland for now.

Every one has reasons for living where they are. For me, the Chesapeake Bay fishing just absolutely rocks, and I have a sweetheart 15 minute commute to work.

I totally digress. Anyway, welcome to the board!
