    I did apply to the Maryland Rifle Club, I received such a warm welcome from this group that I felt I needed to give them a shot first. My wife and I both applied and they have our application. Have not been approved yet its "Being reviewed" so see how long that takes.

    Just wanted to take another minute to say thank you to everyone who posted. Thank you so much.

    Even if you're not totally on board with the NRA just having a gun mag to read in the crapper would make the subscription worth it to me.

    A lot of gun shows have reduced NRA membership prices and then you get in the show for free ta boot.....
