    My first thought was why? but it does look pretty cool, and you could keep the good ergonomics and trigger from a good ar. I'm guessing they couldn't sell a full package with a lower and have it be considered not a firearm right?

    They probably can if the lower can't be attached to a standard upper.
    I'm sure they could do it in that case but thats less fun. Since their whole thing is to be able to use it on a lower you already have I'm guessing there wouldnt be much point in making a proprietary ar lower that no other centerfire uppers would work on.
