As long as it's been kept cool and dry I think you should be fine, however I'd invest in some newer ones and rotate your old ones out. IE eat one and see what happens.

If you properly stored in a cool dark place MREs will last. Toss them in the attic or the trunk of your junk broken up beater of a car and they will go bad.

10-20 yrs may be overly optimistic. Too many variables to consider. Just open one occasionally and test. The survival experts say MREs not the best for reliable long term storage. Consider that they were never designed for that and they're made by the lowest bidders

I actually have been eating more (kosher) MREs these days as I get shipped out to ever-more-remote places for work. Mine are from the pandemic, and... they're OK? I mean, I don't love them, but they're food, they don't require heating, and they're not horrible. Sorta funny to eat one in a base exchange food court, people definitely look at you funny.
