+1 Who ever wrote the slide is a moron. The map obviously shows individuals with protective orders who also happen to own guns.

Otherwise, there's only 5 gun owners in all of Baltimore City.

Do you really think O'Malley is that stupid>? That he would show an auditorium full of federal officials the WHOLE TACO? Let me repeat/again/one more time:

SOMEONE IN THE AUDIENCE HEARD O'M BRAG ABOUT MD HAVING LOCATION OF ALL GUN OWNERS AND CCW HOLDERS!!! Just because you do not see it on the slide does not mean that tells the whole story!:mad54:

    Chill down a bit.

I see no body questioning your statement, only the quality of page #21 in the PowerPoint presentation.

Source: MD State police and mdgun database on the left.

On the right Individuals w/ protective orders and gun owners.

So can we start a class action lawsuit for that mdgun database? It's obvious that they are tracking our purchases to our houses so... I dont know about any of you but I am so distraught about this that I will need my name removed from that database and about $543,000 for the emotional harm that this has caused me knowing that my privacy has been shared without my consent. $543,000 is about right for that nice little house I saw in Leesburg. About 2 miles from the Potomac and Bridge that leads into Fredneck.

So... who else feel ravaged by O'barfley?

Why sue? File a "Freedom Of Information" request.

Then we should have the home address(es) of every Judge and Police officer in MD.

    You're right about 2.

From what I've been finding: There is an IMAP portal available to the public, and one that MD uses internally.

I'm curious on what information the MSP is sharing...

Why is there a flashing red light over my address?

And why is that van marked "television repair" always parked across the street?

Eh. In this day and age, with everything electronically stored; why would anyone be surprised that there is a database of gun owners. Its just too easy to set one up once the data is in an electronic format. I could do a schema and construct a data base in no time at all. I'm sure many people on this forum could as well. (A lot of their teenage kids probably could for that matter, lol) SQL, Access, C+, name your poison. Do you want to be able to search by area? Firearm? Purchase date? Name? All of the above?

I'd have been surprised if there WASN'T a database. Whether the state stepped over any legal lines constructing/compiling/implementing said database is another matter. And doesn't a copy of a purchase order for any firearm go to the state? I didn't know it was only registered firearms. If thats true, then any database would seem kinda silly. But then this IS Maryland.

Map? Second question would be how many have take the online Firearms training course and printed out the certificate of completion? The has a web number along with the full name of the person who completed the online certification.
Really now! Does anyone believe the MD SP doesn't tract this information?
