On Target Member Event/Sale Nov 15th - who's going?

Sales, door prizes, auctions for members of On Target shooting range.

Anyone else going?
I'll be there wearing an MDS shirt or hat, anxious to win a door prize.

But only to try to win the one handgun they usually give away.
The sale they have.......I can buy the guns for the same price anytime at a couple of our IP's. So, I don't go for the sale.....just the giveaway.

No food or drinks but this is my first time not working it in 4 yrs .. and I had fun when I worked it .

I'm just posting this as a reference to anyone else who has searched only to find no details about these events.

There were 50-80 folks who showed up. Only about 30 stayed to the end for the final two giveaways. No food/drink provided.

There were koozies, ice scrapers, pens, and hats given away as you walked in the door.

There was a bag/backpack given away first.
An XD 45 bitone was raffled off.
2 or 3 Taurus revolvers were raffled.
1 Taurus 1911 was raffled.
A membership renewal was given away.
A Ruger 22/45 was the grand prize give away.

Most everything in the store was marked down at a special discount price. I don't think ammunition was discounted.

There were some good buys to be had. Folks bought a lot of toys that evening.

It was good to meet Billcw and one other gentleman whose real name and MDS name escapes me. I think his wife won the grand prize.

All in all, a good evening.

It turned out to be a good night. I got to meet a couple MDS members that I hadn't met before and my wife won the grand prize.

I wanted to buy a Rossi Ranch Hand but they didn't have one in .44mag. I'm still going to get one but it's not a priority.
