PA had a sale on these a couple of weeks ago and I got a good deal including an additional 10% off for IDme and free shipping. I was looking for a new sight for my AR carbine and this fit the bill. The reticle is a ACSS with ranging ladder and I chose the green led as it works best for me. The sight came with a mount that will co witness irons on a 1913 rail plus it has a bunch of different risers in the box for other set ups.

I have had it out to the range twice at 50 yards and 100 yards. For a CQB sight, it is fantastic at 50 yards and pretty much 100 too and will definitely work better if you have young eyes. I was able to keep hits inside the 9 ring on a B-34 target off my elbows on a bench. The chevron is easy to see if slow firing but gets harder if you go fast.

I think this is a really nice light sight and it has plenty of light intensity for full daylight. However, I think I am going to spring for the 3x magnifier (@ $161 for the magnifier and $69 for the swing out mount) that is made for this sight as it will make it more enjoyable for me.

    Just my .02.

I really like these sights for short barrels and CQB type weapons, but if I really wanted to push it out past 100 with my eyesight, I think I’d just go with an LPVO and get it all in one package.

I have 2 of the Cyclops (gen 1 and gen 2 for 5.56) and 2 of the Gemini versions. Love them! All paired up with 3x magnifiers (see my reply to your other post) I have an astigmatism and had to dump my red dots. Here is a good review of the PA microprism. You made a good choice! Best, Jim .
