Hanging was the form of execution for hundreds of years,, especially for tyrants.
If someone wants to make that "racist",, that is THEIR problem, not mine.

"lynching" is being hung by a mob without judicial process,, a separate issue.
(side note: many whites were lynched, by some counts as many as blacks)

PP leadership needs to be more aware of group perception than one indidividual.

A accusation of a organization being racist is a stink that is harder to wash off than a single accusation.

We have to work at not being viewed as old fat white guys in flannel shirts without having the word racist tacked on to that

Understood, The Group does not need/want attention not inline with their ideals/goals/way of doing things.

I am probably more fed up with politicians than most,, and my G.A.F. got up and left when the last of the kids flew the nest.

No law against a gallows depiction, though there's good arguments against; for example, the opinion of the group that you wish to support by your presence.

Aside from that, it occurs to me that guillotine would be far more representative of a wish to rid oneself of an oppressive self-determined aristocracy.
