Peacemaker LRC

So I used to shoot the Long Range Challenge matches at Peacemaker but checked their calendar and there are none listed for this year.
As a matter of fact there are no matches of any kind listed for the year, I assume that the new owners don’t want them or are heading in a different direction. Kinda pissed about this.

Any other places around that have long range matches, preferably with steel instead of paper?

Huh, ok. Just seems odd since they have all classes posted along with Frontier days.

I could see all the info you posted on their events calendar.

Glad to hear they’re not going away though.
I’ll keep an eye out.

they have a fair amount of matches listed, including LRC. here's hoping they all happen!

Doesn't look that way... got this email recently, looks like it's now down to just two matches, one spring, one fall (yet to be listed on the calendar).

Shame, I was looking forward to shooting more of them this summer, looks like I'll have to look elsewhere.

I much preferred the Friday/Saturday LRC matches. Two a year? This sucks

So did I, since I can usually arrange a Friday off and did not have to deal with traffic when I went out to shoot on Fridays. I'm not sure if I will shoot if I have to go on Sat or Sunday, we'll see. It was nice when I could head out early Friday, shoot on Friday and then head down to camp about an hour south and spend the rest of the weekend there last summer. Fridays weren't too crowded either, so it was a pretty quick pace most of the time. I'm disappointed for sure.
