I went to the petition site and thought that they wanted too much info about me, so I didn't sign. You don't know who they will sell your info to, bumberg, every town for gun control, the brady bunch or mayors against guns.

I signed the petition on change.org. Yes they sell your information, so does Google. It is an unfortunate side effect of a "free" Internet.

They are currently at 19,731 signatures. Just 5k more needed.


FWIW: Lexis-Nexis has been selling your personal information worldwide for over 20 years. This includes your address, phone number, household income, type of work you do, credit history, your hobbies, number of children, magazine subscriptions, etc.
