    The Towson walmart does not normally carry this kind of good stuff. They had some stuff on a clearance rack that looked like the were found on a dark corner of a warehouse.

    Try calling the store to save your gas!

    A FatWallet protocol is to NOT call the store. Employee learns of killer deal and then takes all for them self with $ in their eyes for eBay or personal use, whatever it may be, I don't get one.

    How do these compare to Pelican cases? I was looking to pick up a Pelican at some point but it would be hard to argue this price if they are comparable in quality/durability.

    Probably not quite to the quality of a Pelican, but I checked it out before buying it and it was definitely heavy duty. I'd have no issue handing it to the airline.

    LAPoliceGear has soft bags for under $40 if you do not need the hard case.

    I am considering this route thinking I may get shut out of this deal.

    They are no pelican cases but so far seem to be sturdy and very well built. I havent really used mine yet but my son has been beating his around with all his softair crap in his.
