I haven' shot this yet but @ $1.95 a round you'd think they could put either a foam or plastic shell holder in the box and not flimsy paperboard. I know that this sounds a bit B!tc&y, but for the price I expect a better presentation. I used to work in Marketing/Branding and this was a real turn-off. I hope it makes up for it in performance!

Cor Bon has been packaging this way for years. I have a few boxes of 300 Whisper in the same type boxes...accurate as hell

Well if it is as accurate as you say, then great. I just hope the HSM ammo is just as good cause it is $.98/ round and it has a nice foam block inside the box! :D

I used to say the same thing about Häagen-Dazs ice cream but I still bought it. If it turns your firearm into a tack driver than the packing doesn't matter.

Let us know bout sounds levels! Are you shooting through a can?

AAC 7.62 SD. I took it for a test drive the other day with PPU Match 168gr HPBT and it made a significant difference. Plus I was pleasantly surprised how much it reduced the kick. Weather willing i'll take it out this weekend and shoot a little video for ya! From the looks of it, it will be next weekend.

Shoot it. Very accurate ammunition. I met the owner's son at the ASC match a few years back. Pete is good people, making a great product.

    Good Luck

    Really?

CorBon has such a good reputation that I wouldn't think the packaging even matters. The same thing goes for the famed Black Hills 77gr SMK. Ugly box, but one of the best makers of match grade .223

It's the same reason the military doesn't shine their brass. Because it doesn't affect the function, it's just for looks.

Shot the Cor Bon today. Not the ideal situation just enough time to setup and take 3 shots plus I didn't have a decibel meter, so no video, but Holy Hell! With the can, I shot this without ear protection. it sounded like a .22, if that! I also shot the HMX Subsonic and it was louder with a noticeable crackle/echo off the hills. Damn, now I have to buy the expensive stuff :tantrum:

I'll try to pick up a meter and post a video in the next week or two.

    Have you thought about reloading?
