Those using the Bruen ruling on 2A and self-defense as being a valid reason vice those using the formerly required limited number of subjective "good and substantial" reasons that MSP would accept.

A: Maryland will recognize either the federal number or the Maryland serial number.

My Take: The feds will not recognize the Maryland serial number.

A: If the Maryland serial number is used, it needs to be registered. If the federal number is used, it does not need to be registered.

Edit: They "recommend" registration of privately made firearms with the federal number.
