MSP is not to be the whipping boy here. They're stymied by the Maryland AG. That is where the attention and angst needs to be directed towards.

I really thought the Governor was supposed to direct the MSP about this.

Frosh is being used as a scapegoat, because he cant be sued in his capacity.

Someone needs to take a lawsuit against Pickle and Hogan. However, there is the MSI lawsuit in the 4th CA.

Q: What about privacy of those with permits?

A: Under Maryland law, CCW permits are not subject to PIA requests.

Q: What guidance can be offered with ghost guns and the ATFs rules that are in effect in August?

A: Maryland will recognize either the federal number or the Maryland serial number.

My Take: The feds will not recognize the Maryland serial number.

EDIT: The feds will not recognize the Maryland serial number.

Q: What about registration of ghost guns?

A: If the Maryland serial number is used, it needs to be registered. If the federal number is used, it does not need to be registered.

Edit: They "recommend" registration of privately made firearms with the federal number.
