Going back probably 30 years or so, we sang this and see other WW2 patriotic songs in music class when I was in elementary school. Imagine if they tried to do that today? Parents would lose their minds!

I remember singing this a lot in middle school (Mt. Airy Middle). I don't know if it's still used. I can imagine it's not very politically correct.
