Problem with KCI Ar 15 100Rd Drum

Recently acquired this drum , extremely tight in mag well.
Anyone else had this problem, any remedies ?.

Some of my KCI glock mags don't drop free. I've been meaning to sand down the sides a pinch to give them some clearance.

Was thinking of doing that with 00000 steel wool till it fits

My KCI AK drum doesnt fit my NHM91..........so I am keeping it for parts.

I have noticed that their tolerances on stuff is often a little off (or they havent built their product to handle the tolerance range of products manufacturered in the market place).

However if its just a tightness issue it can probably be fitted relatively easily by removing metal from where it isnt fitting. Its always a lot easier to loosen something than get the tightness back.
