    Tiny button fawn. Seems to get along ok but that ass. Looks like gangrene. Not sure how edible that hind quarter will be.

    He probably won't survive the winter and starvation/infection is a hard way to go. I'd put him out of his misery and put him someplace the buzzards can eat him.

    +1 on this, schwak him. Put him down, out of his misery. I’d eat zero from that potentially disease-riddled thing, but if he isn’t suffering now he soon will be. One wasted antler-less tag is not a costly expenditure, assuming you’re not in Region A.
