    Question. I qulified with a semi automatic for my ccw. Do I need to qualify with a revolver to be able to carry a revolver.
    No. You can carry whatever you want. There are no type or caliber restrictions.

    If it was a LEOSA qual, I believe you do need to double qualify. If it's a Maryland HGP, you can carry any type handgun you choose.
    It's why I got my W&C.
    Most agencies doing LEOSA quals pretty much make you do one or the other. Just takes up more time.
    Even though the law says "firearm" and not revolver or semi.
