Rear Ghost Ring Sight Removal - Mossberg 590A1

I'm trying to remove the factory mounted rear ghost ring sight on my 590A1.

Is the rearmost "stud" on the bottom of the sight a pin (punch it out) or a screw? It looks like the "stud" is in one of the predrilled/threaded scope mount holes, but I can't figure out how to get at the head of the screw and there is not enough clearance between the sight and the top of the receiver to turn the whole sight to unscrew it.

Any suggestions (besides leave well enough alone), because I gots to know how it's on.... Thanks!

Got it! It's a screw, one has to keep turning the elevation adjustment until there's enough clearance to turn the whole sight off.

Looks like a pain, glad I have an LPA on a rail on mine Though i have that same sight on my plain jane 590
