FNG here again.....
Probably going to go to the range this weekend, and finally break in my new (and first) gun.
got about 175 rounds right now.
180gr PMC target ammo (150 rounds)
165gr Remington Golden Sabre JHP (25 rounds)
Needless to say, I picked up PMC for practice, and the Remington for home defense.
But I know I probably need to shoot off the Remingtons too, just to make sure my gun "likes" the ammo, feeds and ejects it well. And to get used to shooting the load I plan to use in a defense situation should one ever arise.
I'd like some recommendations for cheaper places to find ammo online. The range at MSAR usually sells Federal 125gr. I'm looking for 135-155gr as I've read that is the best weight for the caliber I'm shooting (.40 <---and yeah, I know how you all feel about that, ha!)
I've heard that my gun (Px4) can pretty much chew up any ammo, but I want to try different weights/brands and see what I'm best with.
Thanks folks....
