    The other side of the MSI lawsuit a lot of people overlook, admit that dealers can release after the 7th day and show a concerted effort to get the checks done in 7 days the law says you shall do.

    Its not going to go back to 7 days overnight, or even in a week, but hopefully this means that ~90 days was full tilt and we will start seeing this pressure cooker dissipate. Not that I'll ever shop at a non-8th day FFL though :mad54:

    I'm May 6 here... but with one of the first 8-day dealers (with whom I meet all the release criteria).

    Nothing.

    In fact, I have reason to believe they are releasing without regard to the backlog, but have yet to see solid information to prove it.

    (I have committed to leaving my gun in the queue as a test case, so no... I will not go into further detail)
