I have a .17HMR rimfire I would love to use for something like this just for fun.

I could use my AR-15 with the .22LR upper. It is the only .22LR rifle I have.

    AR-15 in Rimfire Sporter

    Hi Matt,

The basic requirements for this competition are .22lr, a rifle that weighs under 7.5 lbs and has a trigger pull of more than 3 lbs.
If the rifle doesn't meet those requirements, you can still shoot it. We have a "S" or special class for rifles that don't meet the CMP specifications.
