I just purchased a Romanian AK 47 part kit, I need some advise on what is the best flat receiver for this kit, and if anyone can give me their imput on putting a kit together for a safe firearm. I have experience with other guns reference completely taking them down and putting them back together, but never where I would build one. Also, looking at a Ak 47 inside works, it appears quite simple.

    Any help would be great.

    Thanks

If this is your first build, i would recommend getting a 100% receiver. NoDak Spud makes many fine receivers, their model nds-3 is only $55 shipped. Building from a flat requires alot of time, patience, skill, and quite a few more tools. Building from a 100% receiver, will give you a better idea of how everything goes together, and a finished rifle for reference if you later want to attempt bending your own flat.
