I just picked up a security 9 compact without a laser sight. Haven’t shot this one yet but the one I did shoot was nice and as accurate as I am capable of being.

Rugers are well made pistols in my opinion and good value for the price. My only other Ruger is a P89. Other than the awful trigger it’s a tank and has never failed

I have a CZ P 10 C to sell. A nice pistol but simply too big for me. Has had about 100 or 125 rounds through it at the range. Tried the Security today and is a much better fit for me

I have a Security 9 compact with no laser.

Got a rail mounted laser but don’t use it, I find them too distracting.

Also put Hi-Vis sights on it. Like those A LOT!

Accurate, reliable, USA made and about $300.

    Get one.

What sites did you get? Haven’t decided if I’m gonna change but am thinking about it

HIVIZ unisex adult Handgun HIVIZ Sight Systems Lightwave Sight Set Ruger Security 9, Green, Red, and Black, One Size US

Rear site was easy. The front one required plenty of sanding.

You don’t hear mch negative about them. They get compared to the G19 a great deal. Size, weight capacity.

I shot one before they wete Maryland rostet approved. I like them better than a Glock…larger more realistically sized trigger guard and less rake on the grip are two pluses.

I had a P-85 MkIi, have a P-89 and a P-90. All of those pistols are good. Acceptable to good accuracy. Clunky, blocky but you can’t hurt ‘em.

Yesterday we took an LCP Max, my new EC9S and my foldy Kel-Tec to LaRange.

Shooting each quite well. This afternoon will be cleaning day.

The LCP takes practice and getting used to.

The EC9S shot well right out of the box. Which is good, as it has non-adjusting sights.

Orange paint on the front blade goes on now that I’m keeping it.
