Needs the magazine catch filed down to accept a mil-surp mags and needs a bullet guide installed to feed reliably. Check my sig. :D Not at all hard to convert. I converted mine in a span of two days.

Easy to convert to PG and accept military mags. It's the same Russian-made base rifle that Arsenal used to create their SGL series.

However, if you want a full conversion done to Arsenal's level of quality, expect to spend a lot more than $20 on it.

And if you are not in a hurry or have the desire to convert to double stack, I know where you can get a bunch of surplus 10rd single stack mags...:innocent0

This is exactly why I headed on over to EE and just picked up an unfired SGL. I'm not really an AK guy but tell me I can't have one...

Anyway, no matter how I crunched the numbers the SGL was cheaper.

It's not really single stack, it's just missing the ramp. You can get 30rd "Saiga mags" that will work just fine.
