Is the goal to look cool to your Gun Buddies?

Or to get multiple businesses to allow CC without getting grief from gun haters ?
Will I still be able to conceal carry while I walk my dog around my residential neighborhood and through the small neighborhood park?

I was serious my above post .

You want to follow the themes of Wal Mart and Martin's sinage .Make it look at quick glance to be an Anti Gun sign to distract the Haters , but allow Concealed Carry in the fine print .

Have the Demanding Mommies think it means No Guns for a 1 second glance from 10 feet away. But looking at fine print, it will only ban OC , but allow CC .

I'm a fed. I'll work regardless because I must. It's not unreasonable to expect to get timely paid for work done. Not everyone in federal service is lazy. Admittedly, though, the 80/20 rule applies. 80% of the work is done by 20% of the workforce. From my decades in the private sector, I think it wasn't any different there. The free vacation for those furloughed is a heck of a benefit, though.

My uncle and aunt both work for the federal government

My uncle is an essential employee

During and After the last shutdown was the only time I ever saw them argue

She had to stay home. By had to I mean she actually went to work and was escorted off the premise for doing so, and because my uncle was essential he had to go in and actually had to work a LOT of OT because some of his crew were not considered essential. So during and after the shutdown they would regularly be screaming at each other. She figured since they would eventually get paid that it was fine. But my uncle, and the other essential employees at his plant, all were very adamant that they should either get double time for working, including on the OT, or they should get paid as usual AND get compensated with the corresponding hours of pto.

I thought it was hilarious, from both sides since working in the private sector and for myself for 55 years I understand that in the real world if you don’t work, no matter the reason, you don’t get paid

Ok looks like this is going off the rails again like with Shakespeare.
Can we all just get back on track and talk about a topic that’s been beat to death while waiting for any type of movement.

I agree. But I also believe that the majority of businesses won't care enough to invest the time and money to create, from scratch, a sign that covers all their corporate bases. I hope that big box companies like BassPro will, and that gun shops will not care about offending anybody with a hand written sign. It's the majority of other non-gun places we deal with I was thinking about.

I was just trying to come up with a conversation starter with the brain trust. If we could create a simple sign/sticker that we could give to businesses that we frequent, I truly believe we'd help them help us.

Anyway, since nobody seems to think this is a good idea, I won't pursue it. And I will hope for a TRO in the meantime until this stupid unconstitutional law is overturned.

It would not be beyond reason to believe that the State will provide said signs free of charge.

If they did they'd probably make it as scary as possible (perhaps a gun actively firing bullets) and then add into the COMAR that only their sign meets the requirements for "clear and conspicuous." No, thanks.

I'm hoping one of the two-way advocacy organizations like MSI or GOA or whomever have convinced some federal judge that this is a serious infringement on our two-way rights so he can write an injunction.

Well there's no guarantee that the supreme Court would find the law unconstitutional I think there's a very good chance. We need some federal judge to write an injunction that would stop this BS until the Case can be brought before them.

Much like gun owners, the majority of businesses in MD won’t even know about this law
