After hearing that, I am sicked by the joking, condescending remarks, the inexperience and the un-preparedness by all involved.

It's not like we weren't half expecting it to pass. I just hate it when the people passing these bills are dumber than rocks. A few of them sounded like they had never heard of it with some of the questions they were asking. ON to round 2

I almost feel sorry for them, too stupid to understand what they're doing.

+1 to that it seemed like a bunch of retards that just all had a vague idea of what a gun was and that they were bad... how are these the elected officials of this state?

The only remotely positive thing that got passed was that the license renewal got pushed back to every 10 years instead of every 5 years and the fee got cut down to $50. We also learned that Muse will bend over and take it from Frosh all night long.

10,000 boots on the ground March 1st & 5th will change alot of minds.

I will be there both days for certain even if I have to take unpaid leave again. But I think it's unlikely that we will have more people there than we did at the last one. They're both on work days, a lot of these people have already come down tot he first one, and they're feeling hopeless after tonight.

Hope I'm wrong. I know I will double my efforts and try to drag more people from work. This is our only hope.

If you're angry about what you heard tonight, make sure you're in Annapolis bright and early on 3/1.

There's no guarantee we will win, but the most important thing is to be able to say you did your part. If it still passes, then move or do whatever you have to do; I don't think anyone will fault you.

I know people have legitimate reasons to not go and I'm not talking about you if you're in that boat. But if you have the vacation time and can get approval to be off easily and you care about your rights then you need to be counted again on 3/1.

I'm still trying to understand how these people can laugh and joke while fundamentally changing our rights and the rights of our children.

Well, we can only hope that the next bunch of politicians have more brains than this bunch and don't just rubber stamp it. If it makes it to the Governor, I hope the effective date is far enough in the future to allow me to get my home sold and get the hell out of here and finish my few remaining years in a state that appreciates my money and recognizes the second amendment. Right now Georgia and Alabama look like my prime destinations to explore. They are tax friendly to retirees, which I am one of.

See YOU ALL on the first!

I was there on the 6th...and I'll be there on the 1st!!

I know I'm preaching to the choir, but this is all so wrong. NOTHING proposed in the original bill, or bickered about tonight could have prevented the tragedies in Newtown, Aurora or Virginia Tech! It's all just an emotional reaction without basis in fact.
