I know someone who sent to Orion. Came back a few weeks later and looked good.
It was pricey and it took a while.

When I used Skip he did 2 SBR's for me.
Price was very reasonable and it took about 1 week.
Quality was fine. No problems with mine.

Truthfully I think Orion did a better job but for the price that was paid they better had.
Also I did not want my stuff gone for weeks.

That is why I did not go with Orion.

In the NFA section it is suggested to send out to Orion Arms. Does the Sykesville guy offer similar quality of service?

Skip does not do the engraving. He sends it out. The guy that he used for years passed away. He did excellent work. I had 3 lowers engraved. His new guy, if he is still even using him was just OK. He also did 3 lowers for me. Quality comparison, IMHO, was A+ vs. C-.

I had mine done by Quality Engraving and Design in Kensington back in the early-mid 2000's. Very pleased with their work.

You could try South Carroll Sporting Goods in Woodbine,MD. I believe he does engraving. He is listed in the IP section. Give him a call and ask.
