Because he allowed orapeuscare to stand. The ******** costs me 1400 PER MONTH. Before Obama I had MUCH better coverage for just over 200 PER MONTH.

He is a piece of shit just like Obama.

...and I just found out late last week that I'm losing my ophthalmologist due to Husseincare.

In any event, and to stay on track, I would take Robert all day long over those two leftist that Hussein put in there.

Im very sorry to hear that. My healthcare sucks too. I get to pay 16,800 per year for awful heathcare coverage now.
Oh, but dont you know that the shitbags who pop out kids like its a sport and/or dont work and/or are illegals get it for no cost or VERY little cost. No deductibles, no co pay, no premium, and free Rx.

Before someone calls B.S., yes illegals get free healthcare, all they have to do is pop out a kid on U.S. soil. Instant benefits.

I heard that Grasley (who runs the Judicial Committee) has envoked the 1992 Biden Rule.

    Good.

Biden will make some clever retort, e.g. say he has "evolved," "we're all friends," "we have to stop the acrimony," "duty to the country," etc., etc. The exact same BS the Dems pull every time, that never applied when they pulled their stunts. Same with Schumer and Obama, who both took the other side when the shoe was on the other foot. Not trustworthy, not fit for public office, yet have risen to the pinnacle of power.

    You all but quoted him!!

I couldn't have. I didn't listen to him. Just learned recently who he is from another thread here. Maybe he quoted me. Or maybe they're just getting too predictable.

Why do so many people hate on Roberts?

He helped give us Heller and McDonald...

I think the reason for most, is the fact that he doesn't seem to support a conservative nor a liberal agenda. I would take him over the 2 Obozo has installed. But it is frustrating to have him support the conservative side on one instance and next time he heads off into the liberal camp.

But I do believe that for the most part, he is friendly towards the 2A.

Maybe. Somebody on the Heller 5 flipped otherwise we wouldn't be seeing all these cert denials. Roberts is as good a candidate as any to flip.

Yes, and that's why he's so scary. You don't know which way he's going to vote. But I still stick with my observation. He does seem to lean towards the 2A.

Now the really scary part, what does he do without Scalia? Will he continue to be a friend of the 2A or does his Scalia's death leave him without direction?

I would rather not find out. I'd much rather have a true 2A defender sitting on the bench beside Roberts.

CNN claiming Nevada's Governor Sandavol considered to replace Scalia. Former Federal judge and pro-gun-rights
Sandoval signed an awful corporate tax into law and he's a union favorite. Standard progressive stuff. I assume anybody Obama is considering wants to eviscerate the 2A whether they admit it or not, so I wouldn't trust him on guns either.

The only reason Obama would consider a Republican is if they were a Trojan horse. Congress should not be fooled if Sandoval is formally nominated.

What incentive does Obama have to abandon his in-your-face, smash-mouth politics that is the only thing he's ever known or practiced?

Anyone he nominates who appears either conservative or pro-2A either is a Manchurian candidate carefully groomed by Marxists for this mission over his entire adult life and career (not unlike like Obama), or is the unintentional star of a secret porn video co-starring a horse and other barnyard animals.

I actually like Brian Sandoval. I think it would be a safe bet for Republicans to confirm him instead of leaving it up to the next President who could possibly be a Democrat. He's been endorsed by the NRA and signed a bill permitting campus carry. Good enough for me. I'd rather not risk losing the seat to another Sotomayor or Kagan should we lose the election. The Heller 5 will be intact.

However, I doubt Obama would nominate a center-right justice.
