St. Charles Sportsman Club NRA High Power match today. The rain held off for the most part. It was kind of hard to see in the rapids since the smoke cloud just kinda hung right in front of you. Only 6 people showed up today, (weather?). I almost blew it from the start, I loaded a batch of ammo on the fly last night and didn't check the OAL. The rounds wouldn't fit in 2 of my mags. Overall a decent day though. I shot a 744 -11X. Hope I can hold off getting a Master rating until after Camp Perry. There was a young gentleman there today shooting his first match and he really looked like he was enjoying himself. Friendly bunch of guys down there, some of you need to make a showing, it's an 1 1/2 hour commute for me.
