    Frankly I wouldn't do it. Pistol primer cups are thinner than rifle primer cups. Punctured primers is not a good thing.

    This is the biggest problem; pistol primers will not stand up to rifle pressures. There is also a minor height difference that may cause irregular ignition, but the real problem is cup hardness.
