School principals; incident reports. Eliminates the requirement that school principals report to law enforcement certain enumerated acts that may constitute a misdemeanor offense.


Yeah, schools hide criminals.

How many sexual assaults were covered up by principals thanks to Senator Bryce Reeves' vote for HB 257 in 2020?

House Bill 257, linked here, enabled High School Principals to hide and not report crimes to law enforcement officials...including sexual assault!

Reeves broke ranks with the majority of Republicans and voted for this horrible bill empowered school officials to-

-------In May of 2021, the principal of Stone Bridge HS in Loudoun County planned on handling the rape of a 14-year-old student "in house," and the Loudoun County School Board hid the truth about the incident for months in anticipation of a vote to open up girls' bathrooms to male students.


-------And then in October, the school principal of Minnie Howard High School and the Alexandria School Board withheld information from students' parents about the rape of a 14-year-old in a school bathroom.

The victim required hospitalization which is likely the only reason the police were ever notified. The School Board and the principal were afraid that if they told parents the truth about what had happened in their children's school then it would cause an ugly ruckus before the November election.

And one has to ask- How many more assaults were hidden because of House Bill 257?

But now Reeves is running for Congress and wants you to forget about his support for HB257.

When Bryce Reeves was confronted about his vote for HB 257, he defended it by saying he never imagined it could be used by liberals to make schools less safe for students. Either he was naive or school safety was less of a concern for him than protecting sexual predators from facing harsh zero-tolerance policies.

Neither the quality of K-12 government schools in Virginia nor School Choice were priorities for Senator Reeves this year. He was too busy introducing bill after bill to satiate the casino and gaming industry, some of his biggest donors.

Apparently parental rights and school safety can't compete with the gambling lobby for Bryce Reeves' time and energy as a lawmaker.

Now Senator Reeves is hoping you forget his poor voting record as he runs for the Republican Nomination for the 7th Congressional Seat.

Will you let him get away with it?
