I'm turning 21 next week so I want to send in my C&R app. as soon as I can.

    Anything I need to know?
Do I just send a copy to the St. Mary's County Sheriff then or MDSP?
And do I have to fill out the last two pages that have the same questions and just the billing info blotched out?

Doesn't look like there's much to it, but I just want to be sure.
And I know you guys will be proud of me too for finally getting it :D
    Thanks.

Congrats on turning 21 - happy B-day - and another congrats on sending in your C&R app.

Whoever your local CLEO is in St. Mary's County is where I'd send the CLEO copy vs. MDSP. You should be able to find his name and address online.

Most of us just put the MD state police and had no problems...

Agreed. If it was my app, I'd send it to this CLEO in St. Mary's County:
    Sheriff Timothy K. Cameron
    St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office
    23150 Leonard Hall Drive
    Leonardtown, Maryland

Unless you have a background issue, the copy is going into a file drawer somewhere. By sending it, you've done your due diligence.
    :)

Haha I have no doubt. Maybe I'll save the 20 for an SVT-40 or an M1 Garand... if I can wait that long

First order is a Nagant revolver, soon after, a K98 and from there... I'm doomed to multiple impulse buys. :sad20:

You've all been a terrible influence on me... and for that you rock :D
If I was drunk I'd hug you all :lol2:

I thought about going to my local bail bondsman with a smile and my vintage 12ga and saying "You got'em, I can find 'em..."

So do I have to fill out the second two pages of the Application?
Mine's got two pages, then the next two pages are basically the same questions except that the billing info is shaded out.

That's my understanding. The feds get the page with the billing info. Local LE get the other page.

I have the application on order.

I had the C&R paperwork sitting on my dining room table for months.
I finally finished it and mailed it out yesterday. Now I guess it's a hurry up and wait thing.
