Has anyone ever had issues shipping firearms? I was trying to ship some to Utah for hunting through the post office. I had them unloaded, in a hard case with a lock on it, and in inconspicuous packaging ( all of this is allowed and required under regulation 423.3 of the us post office). When I went to the post office the woman was very rude and told me she wouldn't ship firearms. Afterwards I asked her to look up the rules and she said no because "she knew there was now way". I pulled it up on my phone and she read it and started yelling "NO GUNS" repeatedly and I left because of how uncomfortable I had felt.
I then went to another post office and the lady told me she didn't know anything about the rules and to call a number to get help on sending them. The number wasn't real. I feel very discouraged and discriminated against since I know this is perfectly legal as I have done it before. Does anyone have any advice for how to get a hold of someone higher up in the post office (since this seems to be impossible as well)? Or alternative options?
