I'm a relative newbie to PCP airguns, and definitely not a techno-geek. Well, not yet anyway.
Most of us are familiar with Pyramid Air and Air Guns of Arizona. Pyramid doesn't have a showroom, and although the other guys have one, it's a bit far for a day trip. I wanted to treat myself to either a Daystate or Brocock, but couldn't find anybody with a shop that has several (read any) on hand to compare. I found Nathan at Blue Ridge, down in Verona, VA (just north of Staunton) and made a road trip yesterday to check them out.
https://www.blueridgeairguns.com Super glad I did. Even though his stock was somewhat depleted due to a previous weekend's event, he still had a nice selection. Didn't have the exact model I wanted, but we were able to come to a consensus of what I wanted and he could get. Ended up ordering a Daystate Red Wolf and an Athlon scope that should arrive here in a week or so.
Nathan is extremely knowledgable and friendly, super helpful, and seems to do a lot to sponsor new air gun shooters and events. He also stocks some compressors and a selection of other accessories. Don't expect to see a BassPro type of selection, but everything he has is good quality and fairly priced (think suggested list).
Here's a generic pic of the new toy:
